Hands-On Science at the Natural History Museum

Year 3 had a fantastic day out at the Natural History Museum!
We did a workshop in the Investigate Science Centre at the Natural History Museum. Pupils explored over three hundred real Museum specimens, which included everything from dinosaur fossils to butterflies and rare minerals. Pupils got to be real-life scientists carrying out their own scientific investigations, looking for evidence, measuring, observing and recording their chosen specimen using microscopes, scales, magnifying glasses and other exciting equipment.
We also got to investigate the dinosaur galleries and explore earthquakes in the Red Zone too!
