Last week, both Reception classes wrapped up warmly and went to Vauxhall City Farm to meet the animals! They helped out the farm by feeding alpacas, goats and sheep. The children were also excited to touch guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, rats and chinchillas!
Last week we had a zoo come to school! As part of our Science curriculum, Zoo Lab came to school to run a workshop with each class, based on what they are learning about. Commando Joe’s have been working in one of our secondary schools and across our primary schools for the past academic year and to reward all the children's hard work, Commando Joe’s set up a huge inflatable assault course in our Sports Hall for the children to use.
On Friday 11th November, we had a visitor from the War Memorial Trust come into school, to talk to the whole school about Remembrance Day. As part of this learning, Year 3 also took walk to the war memorial at St Saviours’ Church.
