We receive funds to ensure that pupils from a disadvantaged background have the richest possible educational experience.
Our aim in allocating the Pupil Premium grant is to improve outcomes for these pupils. Our expectation is that they will leave primary education having made accelerated progress and with attainment in line with national expectations.
We use the Pupil Premium funds for:
- Teaching and training, such as additional support for our reading programme and specialist groups for Maths, and speech and language;
- Pastoral care, for example by improving attendance
- Enrichment activities, such as trips and visits and providing uniform for pupils;
- Extended day provision, such as Early Birds Breakfast Club and weekend activities.
